Ironwood Beaver Sculpture

This beaver has been hand crafted from desert ironwood, a very dense and heavy wood. Due to the density of the wood, it requires long hours of carving, hand sanding and polishing to effectively capture the beautiful burl and distinctive grain inherent to ironwood.
